Online Mental Health and Communications Training
Every mental health and communications training course we offer is available to you online, giving you an easy and convenient way to learn. Each course, session, and workshop is delivered to you live, in real-time by our qualified trainers in exactly the same way as our group training – just virtually through Zoom, Skype, or Teams.
What is virtual training?
Virtual, or online training is the same as regular training except that it all takes place on screen through your computer or device. Allowing the delivery of engaging, interactive courses by using online platforms, you and your employees can take advantage of specialist training and learning wherever you are in the world at any time.
Online training is becoming a much more common and popular way to learn in real-time using a computer, laptop, or tablet. It’s a flexible and easy alternative for any employees or team members who can’t attend courses physically, due to circumstance or location.
How does your live online training work?
Our live online training works in the same way as our regular face to face training, just online. Though none of us will be in the same room, your course will be delivered virtually by us, live, through an online platform that suits you, including Zoom, Skype, or Microsoft Teams.
All attendees and trainers can see and hear each other, and everyone is involved right from the start, just like our regular training. We use slides, graphics, and presentations in each course, and group discussions using breakout rooms and polls, are all encouraged to make the learning experience fully inclusive and interactive for everyone attending.
How to attend our online training courses
On the day, click the link to join the training session. If you’re a little early, it doesn’t matter. Our trainers will know you’re there and will wait until everyone is there before starting. You’ll then be able to see us and everyone attending – and we’ll be able to see you too!
What do Clearfocus online training courses offer?
Each online course covers 1-day but can be shortened to cover a lunch-and-learn session, or a half-day if time is limited or if attendees have previous knowledge of the topic. And while we like to limit each full or half-day course to 15 people for maximum interaction, we also offer shorter, 1-hour sessions for up to 30 people. These can be particularly useful for a seminar or talk-based session on a specific topic.
Whatever your training needs are, we can adapt our online courses to make sure you get what you need.
Online Training FAQs
What online platforms do you use for your online training?
Our chosen platform for online training is Zoom, but we also use Skype and Microsoft Teams to deliver our courses. But we’re flexible and can use whichever platform you prefer or feel most comfortable with.
Do we need to pay for any software?
Zoom, Skype, and Microsoft Teams are all free to use platforms. You can easily download and install any of them onto your computer, laptop, or tablet.
When will I get my course invite?
We’ll send emails to every registered delegate on the day of the course a few hours before the start time. If you’ve not received an email, check your spam or junk folders. If you’ve not received an email and the course is due to begin in under an hour, call us on 07831 119 941.
Will there be a recording of the training?
No. All our mental health and communications training courses are delivered live in real-time, just like face-to-face training.
Do we receive a certificate?
All attendees will receive a certificate of attendance on completion of the training.
What are the benefits of online training?
Face-to-face training can sometimes be inconvenient, especially for any employees who are out on the road, in a different part of the country, or with different schedules. There is no travel time so attendees can join the course from anywhere with an internet connection and there is no need for you to hire venue space to run your course.
Online training gives you more convenience and greater flexibility, allowing everyone to take part wherever they are quickly, easily, and cost-effectively.
