Conflict and Resolution Training
Our Conflict and Resolution training workshops are suitable for anyone wanting to gain or develop their skills to help build confidence in handling any conflict challenges in the workplace or in everyday life. By learning these essential skills, attendees can tackle and manage difficult or threatening conflict effectively, helping to resolve situations, reduce stress, and improve mental health.
Course aims
Conflicts, however large or small, can happen in any workplace, whether your business has 5 or 500+ employees. And it can happen between a group of coworkers, individual team members – even between staff and a customer. By giving attendees the know-how, they can learn the positive art of conflict management and effective resolution in the workplace.
Conflict at work can damage relationships between co-workers, but it can also impact the reputation of a business. With effective training, delegates gain the skills and confidence needed to step in and intervene, creating a safer and less hostile working environment for everyone. Our Conflict and Resolution training workshops address these issues and more to give staff the ability to:
- Understand how conflict can arise in the workplace
- Get to know the negatives – and the positives – of workplace conflict
- Recognise who could be at risk of workplace conflict and its impact
- Use proven strategies to prevent conflicts from happening – or escalating – in the workplace
- Deal with flashpoints or ongoing conflicts effectively by using alternative dispute resolutions
Course outlines
In this inspiring 1-day conflict and resolution workshop, James and Priscilla both draw on their personal experiences and extensive knowledge of conflict in different areas. Why is conflict and resolution training important?
With figures reportedly showing that around 85% of employees face some kind of conflict situation at work, and as much as 29% have to deal with it regularly, the negative effects of conflict in the workplace can be far-reaching for staff, employers, and potentially, customers too.
But with the right training, workplace conflict can be successfully managed and its importance shouldn’t be underestimated. Giving you the tools and skills required, conflict can be dealt with quickly and effectively so it actually improves workplace productivity, restores balance, empowers your staff, and helps lessen the potential risks of conflict in the long term as well.
